Cancellation policy
Rules for cancelling or rescheduling bookings made through PlumberFinder. Amounts shown in the app at checkout and before you confirm always apply to your booking.

Customer cancellation fees
After you accept a quote and schedule an appointment, cancellation fees depend on how close you are to the confirmed visit time:
- More than 48 hours before the appointment: no cancellation fee
- 24 to 48 hours before: $25 CAD flat fee
- Less than 24 hours before: 20% of the accepted quote amount, capped at $100 CAD
Fees are charged from your secured payment method when applicable. If your plumber rejects a reschedule twice, you may cancel without a fee — the app will show when this applies.
Rescheduling
Reschedule fees follow similar time-based tiers. Request a new time in the app; your plumber must accept the change. See your booking screen for the fee that would apply before you confirm.
No-show fees
If you do not show up or respond during a confirmed visit after the plumber has arrived and followed platform contact steps, a no-show fee may apply. See our no-show fee policy for full details.
Plumber cancellation or no-show
If the assigned plumber cancels or does not attend a confirmed appointment, report it in the app. Your payment authorization is typically released rather than captured when the plumber is at fault.
Before a quote is accepted
You may withdraw an open request before accepting a quote without cancellation fees. Once a quote is accepted and scheduled, the tiers above apply.

If you believe a fee was applied incorrectly, use in-app dispute options where available or contact support@plumberfinder.ca.
Policy reflects platform rules at the time of booking. Fee calculations enforced by PlumberFinder systems may be updated; amounts shown at checkout and in job disclosures prevail for your booking.
